Campers on Mission Rally

Arkansas is hosting the National Campers on Mission Rally June 18th-20th at Kay Rodgers Park in Fort Smith . Organized in 1971 by the North American Mission Board, COM has grown to include more than 6,000 members in 30 chapters. Members share a common goal as they travel— the Great Commission's call to “go and make disciples.” (ABN, March ‘08)

Many opportunities and events are planed for the campers and their children at the rally. Valerie Fitch is in charge of the children's program and they are in need of help in this area. If any of the area churches, ministry groups, or individuals are interested in helping with the children's campers on mission program for the three days, please call her at 479-785-4119.

The them for the children will be “Avalanche Ranch—A Wild Ride Through God's Word.” Activities will include Bible study, games, crafts, puppets, clowns, horses, sports, music, worship, and much more!

India Mission Trip

Rev. Richard Goodrum (Pastor, Bloomer) will be leading a group to India on September 15-28 (some may want to return on the 25th). At least nine are needed for this trip. It will consist of working with churches, schools, and orphanages. The churches of our Association can help by providing money for rice, water purifiers, and possibly a few goats. This is a great opportunity to see many saved. A valid passport is necessary. Bro. Richard will need to know as soon as possible if you would like to go.
