I've been thinking about Jesus Christ, how can I know Him? |
| 1. Know that
this Jesus Christ, the Son of God, was sent into the world
to die for the saving of the souls of all the peoples of the
world.
"...God demonstrates
his own love for us in this:
While we were still sinners, Christ died for us." The
Holy Bible, Book of Romans, chapter 5, verse 8. |
7. Find a Bible-Believing,
Christ-honoring, loving church family and become a part of their
fellowship so you can develop Christlikeness. |
| 2. What do I need to do to have
Christ as my Savior and Lord and heaven for my home? |
8. Start reading your Bible,
especially the short books in the New Testament. |
3. Make a choice:
"To all who
receive him, to those who believe in his name, he gave the
right to become children of God. John 1:12 and
the Bible tells you, "That if you confess with your mouth,
'Jesus is Lord,' and believe in your heart that God raised
him from the dead, you will be saved." Romans 10:9 |
9. Start talking to God every
day. |
4. You can do
this right now, right where you are, just pray a prayer like
this:
"Dear Lord
Jesus, I know that I am a sinner and need your forgiveness.
I believe that You died for my sins. I want to
turn from my sins. I now invite You to come into my
heart and life. I want to trust and follow You as Lord
and Savior. In Jesus' name, Amen." |
10. Start telling others about
the miracle of salvation God has given you. |

this prayer from your heart, God says, "Everyone
who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved."
Romans 10:13 and "For it is by
grace you have been saved, through faith-and this not from yourselves,
it is the gift of God-not of works, so that no one can boast."
Ephesians 2:8,9 |
11. Find a Church to go to who
honors Jesus Christ, The Word, and the Bible. |
6. Receiving
Christ brings you into God's family through the supernatural
work of the Holy Spirit who will indwell you forever as a
believer. This is called the "new birth". |
